Refund Policy

At The Purse Affair, we strive to ensure your satisfaction with every purchase. Our refund policy is designed to be fair and transparent.

Refund Eligibility

  1. Not as Described: If an item is not as described, you may request a refund within seven days of receiving the item. Please contact us via Instagram or email at enquiries@thepurseaffair.com.
  2. Authenticity Guarantee: If an item is found to be non-authentic by a third-party authenticator, we will fully refund the item under our lifetime authenticity guarantee. The seven-day limit does not apply in this case.
  3. Change of Mind: We do not accept refunds for change of mind.
  4. Laybys: Laybys cannot be cancelled or refunded. If a layby is cancelled, a non-refundable fee of 20% of the item's price will be retained by The Purse Affair.
  5. Watches: We provide a warranty on mechanical movement for 30 days from the date of purchase. If the watch stops moving, send it in to be assessed and we will cover the cost of repair with our expert watchmaker. The exterior of the watch must be in the same condition as purchased, within reason.

Refund Process

  • Initiating a Refund: To initiate a refund, contact us on Instagram or email us at enquiries@thepurseaffair.com.
  • Pre-Shipping Refunds: If you request a refund before the item is shipped, we will process the refund minus the non-refundable merchant fee (usually 3–4% of the transaction). This fee is retained by PayPal or Stripe, not by us. Proof of this charge can be provided upon request. Where you have requested that we delay your shipping after full payment, the pre-shipping refund will no longer be possible.

Important Notes

  • Timely Notification: Claims for items not as described must be made within seven days of receiving the item.
  • Lifetime Authenticity Guarantee: For items proven to be non-authentic, the seven-day limit does not apply.
